Every time I press "next" the same pattern appears. Why?
A:
You probably have locked all the parameters in the "Locks" view. Click the middle button in the "Main" view to get there and take a look.

Q:
Pattoo always seems to take forever to generate a new pattern. Why?
A:
If your phones processor is not very powerful, some patterns may take a long time to generate. Go to the "Settings" view (via the Action Bar or the Options Menu, depending on your phone model) and select "Processing Time". There you are able to set a lower value (default value is six) which will shorten the time it takes to make a pattern.

Q:
Who owns the copyright for the graphics generated by Pattoo?
A:
Since a computer program cannot own copyright, and Pattoo is a computer program, the patterns created are essentially copyright free. However, you, the user, can take part in the creative process by locking different parameters, and perhaps nudge a pattern to a specific end result. This means that you guide the program and this, in turn, means that you can claim the copyright for the resulting pattern, if you whish.

Can I use Pattoo on any phone?
A:
Pattoo is currently available for Android phones with Android version 2.3.3 or higher.
Screen sizes "small, "medium" and "large are supported.
